MALAYSIA STUDENT VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR BANGLADESHI CITIZEN:
Bangladeshi / international students need visa to enter in Malaysia.For living in Malaysia as international student you need a student pass (student visa), which is issued to you after completing admission process.
Once you get admission the higher education institute itself will apply for student pass for you. However, you will have to pay fee for students pass which is charged US $ 69 to US $ 346.
This depends on student’s home country.
Once a student pass is issued on your name then you are asked to apply for students visa from your home country. Embassy of Malaysia can be demand following document for issuing student visa:
- Original and photocopy of passport (6 month validity of passport is required).
- Original and photocopy of student pass.
- Admission confirmation letter of university.
- Financial proof / Bank statement (with sufficient funds to pay fee + living expenses)
- Medical fitness certificate.
- Passport size photographs.
PART TIME JOBS FOR BANGLADESHI STUDENTS IN MALAYSIA:
Students are allowed to work part time jobs in Malaysia.Normally students are allowed to work for 20 hours per week on student pass. International students are not required work permit for doing job in Malaysia.
Minimum wage rate in Malaysia is 5MR per hour.
This is pretty good as compare to cost of living in Malaysia.
You cannot cover your complete expenses from part time job. However, income from part time job can cover some part of your study and living expenses. Malaysia is an industrial country with good economy.
So there are lots of jobs available in student cities of Malaysia. But keep in mind that never let your work disturb your studies. Your basic purpose in Malaysia is study, you should concentrate on your study first to make your grades better.
